Capturing Billy & Rayna’s Wedding at The Milestone in Georgetown, TX: Love, Sweat, and Unforgettable Memories
When Billy and Rayna invited me to photograph their wedding at The Milestone in Georgetown, TX, I was beyond excited. Not only have I known Billy and Rayna since middle school, but their special day held so much meaning for me. The Milestone, with its beautiful architecture and stunning grounds, provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Even though it was a hot, humid day in Texas, Billy and Rayna were absolute troopers, and the results were definitely worth the sweat!
The Milestone in Georgetown is a dream wedding venue, offering a mix of rustic elegance and sophisticated charm. From its grand ballroom to the lush outdoor spaces, it’s the perfect place for a romantic wedding. The venue’s classic architecture, combined with its beautiful gardens and towering oak trees, gave Billy and Rayna’s wedding the kind of ambiance that dreams are made of.
We had just gotten some rain, so it was a hot, humid summer day in Texas, and the sweltering temperatures definitely made an impact. As we made our way through portraits and wedding details, Billy and Rayna were understandably hesitant about taking photos outside. It was the kind of weather that made you want to stay inside, in air-conditioned comfort. However, after a little convincing (and a few cold drinks!), we headed outdoors, and I’m so glad we did.
The natural light and the beauty of the grounds were well worth the sweat! Billy and Rayna braved the heat for some stunning portraits beneath the oak trees and around the picturesque spots at The Milestone.
