Without a doubt, I believe I speak for many business owners when I say there is nothing that quite warms the heart like a new client brought to you by referral. This means that your previous client enjoyed your work so much, they passed it along to their friends, siblings, colleagues, classmates, etc. I’m proud to say that many of the University of Texas senior photos clients that Photography by Hong Nga has been privileged to work with have been referred! Caroline, for example, is sisters with my previous client, Kennedy, who is also friends with Alanna. There’s more in there girl gang – I just haven’t gotten around to uploading photos pre-2018! That aside, my second favorite part of taking senior photos is getting to know the clients I work with.

I didn’t stray too far from my alma mater after graduating, so I stay pretty updated on the news from UT Austin. Like universities all around the world, the spring semester was one that no one could predict. My session with Caroline, originally scheduled for March, took place long after commencement would have played out. Let’s just say there were a lot of cancellations this year. We discussed how much of a bummer it must have been to finish your senior year online, but there were silver linings ahead! It may have been a weird semester, I can at least celebrate another milestone with another client. Congrats on your graduation, Caroline! I hope the next chapter of your life involves less social distancing and more celebration.

While I call Austin home, I’m happy to help graduates all over Texas celebrate their graduation. If you’re looking to get your University of Texas senior photos taken, don’t hesitate to get in touch. And even if you’re just a little bit further away, I do travel!
