Baby Koda is finally here! I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm super grateful to have been able to capture so many first moments for Mackenzie and Cameron. They were also first moments for me! I'm so happy they trust my work - and me! - so much that they're comfortable enough allowing me to shoot my first wedding, my first maternity photos, and now, my first newborn photos!
Koda was about two weeks old when we met and he was the perfect model. I guess a milk-drunk baby makes for a quiet one. ;) We did the photos in the family home, which also made me slightly nervous since I tend to be a natural light shooter and have limited experience with shooting with a flash. I'd like to think it all worked out in the end, and aside from it being a great learning experience, I had a ton of fun during this shoot.
Congrats, you guys! Looking forward to all the future snaps of Koda as he grows up.
